By integrating trauma informed skills into your practice, you not only authentically and empathetically connect with your clients, you also drive efficiency and more productive outcomes on your clients’ cases. Trauma and re-traumatization effects memory, linear thinking, and the ability to present perfected testimony. In this roundtable we will discuss how to work with clients who suffer from trauma, and learn simple skills to help your clients avoid repeated re-traumatization at all stages of representation.
