AILA's Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Committee is hosting a roundtable to discuss current issues of diversity. The first 30 minutes will include a discussion lead by our facilitators, followed by a 30 minutes breakout session where participants can have an intimate discussion.

Discussion Topics

  • History of race, immigration and citizenship and its impact today
  • Perspectives of diversity, inclusion and equity from different regional areas of the U.S.
  • Significant recent events, including the coronavirus pandemic, Black Lives Matter movement, and 2020 election season

This roundtable is available only to AILA members and not CLE eligible. AILA University Video Roundtables are free learning opportunities for AILA members provided via a weekly schedule of live video programming for members to come together from across the country and world to discuss hot topics and network with colleagues in the field. Video Roundtables are part of AILA University programming and each session is hosted by faculty selected for their expertise.
