|Live Event Date: 08/10/2022 - 08/11/2022|
This program is designed to give paralegals and law office support staff insight into the complexities and practicalities of immigration law, allowing them to assist their supervising attorneys and clients more effectively. This two-day virtual conference features dual tracks, which allows attendees the opportunity to choose which live sessions they attend. All sessions will be recorded, giving all registrants the ability to watch panels they missed and review the content after the conference.
Our faculty will begin by focusing on the paralegal’s role, including common ethical quandaries that paralegals face. Experts on the Hot Topics panels will address cutting-edge developments, including COVID-related challenges and policy changes from the Biden Administration. Then, a special lunch session will include rapid-fire tips for saving time and increasing productivity. The afternoon of day one features dual tracks: law practice management and crossover topics applicable to all practice areas such as family immigration and naturalization. Day two begins with a panel on dual representation (for both family– and employment-based cases), then splits into two tracks (Removal/Humanitarian and Business). A question-and-answer period follows each session, allowing attendees to interact with faculty and gain further insight.
