Questions regarding travel have become complicated, and the rules seem like they are in constant flux. In this intermediate panel, our expert faculty will discuss travel issues across multiple statuses. They also will address returning resident issues, current travel restrictions, the latest on post-pandemic trends, and additional complications for tourists, residents, and visa travelers.

Recordings will be available approximately two weeks after the live event date. AILA members can access these seminars, with no CLE credit, for free. Recordings are CLE eligible in most jurisdictions and an administration fee is required to obtain CLE credit.

Assma Ali is the founding attorney at the Law Offices of Ali & Associates, P.A. Ms. Ali has extensive experience in the Immigration Law field. She has represented clients from several countries, both detained and non-detained. Ms. Ali handles a wide variety of types of cases and has been extremely successful in doing so. Ms. Ali is a child of Yemeni immigrants, and is honored to be able to assist other immigrants during their journey.

Spojmie Nasiri is principal attorney at the Law Office of Spojmie Nasiri, PC. Mrs. Nasiri received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis and her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University, School of Law. Mrs. Nasiri has been a member of the California State Bar since 2006 and is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for Northern California. She has served as a panelist at various AILA seminars and conferences. In addition to English, Mrs. Nasiri is fluent in Pashto and Dari.
Lieselot Whitbeck, Stuart, FL
Lieselot Whitbeck is a global immigration lawyer at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, providing immigration support for corporate assignments and relocations to Europe, the Americas, and Asia. She is a member of the AILA Global Migration Section Analytics Committee, and since March 2020 has become adept at navigating consular processes amid widespread travel restrictions.
Eligible participants can receive up to 1.8 CLE credit hours. AILA will administer CLE credit only to individuals who register and log into the web seminar. AILA cannot verify your attendance and participation in this program unless you register directly for the web seminar and use your name to log in to participate in the program. Therefore, persons who log in or listen in on the web seminar as part of a group will not be able to obtain CLE credit.
