Dagmar Butte (dl), Portland, OR

Dagmar Butte, a shareholder of Parker, Bush & Lane in Portland, Oregon has practiced immigration law since 1992 and is currently an elected member of the AILA Board of Governors and an ambassador for the American Immigration Council (AIC). She was elected a SuperLawyer by her peers in 2008 and 2009 and received the Oregon AILA Chapter’s 2009 Gerald Robinson Excellence in Immigration Advocacy Award. She writes and speaks frequently for AILA national, regional and local seminars, as well as privately sponsored seminars and Lewis & Clark Law School sponsored immigration events. Ms. Butte has served as associate editor of Immigration Options for Artists and Entertainers, has chaired and been a member of several national AILA committees. In her spare time, she is an adjunct professor of law at Lewis & Clark Law School.

Romulo E. Guevara, Phoenix, AZ

Romulo E. Guevara, an attorney with Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy in Phoenix, has practiced immigration law since 1997 and is currently a member of the AILA publications board. Mr. Guevara frequently writes, edits, and speaks on a national and local level for both AILA and other private organizations. Previous activities include the AILA 2007 Annual Conference committee, chair of AILA’s distance learning committee, and conference handbook editor. Mr. Guevara is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law in New York.

Ronald Matten, Toronto, ON

Ronald Matten is an attorney and senior manager in the Toronto office of Egan LLP. His practice focuses on US immigration for global corporate clients, providing a full range of employment- and family-based immigration and citizenship solutions. He also advises and assists employers with developing and implementing corporate immigration policy and strategy, and he helps employers navigate mergers and acquisitions, changes during the economic downturn, and government audits and inspections. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the UCLA School of Law. Mr. Matten is admitted to practice in the state of California and is a Foreign Legal Consultant in the province of Ontario.
