E Visa Trends and Challenges - Recording (.MP3)
E visa adjudications have been severely affected by COVID-19 and the regular and ongoing closures of U.S. consulates. With E visa units barely operating for more than a year, many clients were unable to process applications with the Department of State (DOS), faced major delays, or looked to change of status or extension of status filings with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The experts on this intermediate panel will discuss current trends with E visa adjudications at the consulates and the aftermath of filings with USCIS as treaty traders, investors, and employees resume more normal travel.
- Current Status of E Visa Adjudications at Consulates
- Updating Packages Submitted Months Ago as E Visa Applicants Are Called for Interviews
- Presenting E-2 Applications for Newer Businesses When Investors Have Been Unable to Work for the Company for Long Periods
- How Are Consulates Dealing with Applicants Who Filed Changes to E Status or Extensions of E Status with USCIS?
