Discussion Topics
Gender is a fundamental part of our identities, and yet our concepts of gender identity and expression have been largely shaped by external influences. Join to learn more about gender beyond the binary, and as a fluid and multi-faceted part of our lives. We will explore concepts of intersectionality, gender equity, gender spectrums, biology, sexuality, gender expression, and more. This workshop will be interactive and engaging and will offer participants opportunities to reflect on their own understanding of gender and how that understanding influences their lives and work. Participants will leave with concrete strategies to create more equity and inclusion with regard to gender in their workplaces, society, and beyond.
