Recently, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) and the attorney general (AG) have issued decisions that radically changed many aspects of immigration law, from post-conviction relief, to the definition of particular social groups, to immigration consequences of DUIs. The panelists will discuss hot topics from recent BIA and AG decisions, and how circuit courts have responded. They also will advise on how these decisions have changed the analysis for certain case types and provide tips for putting your clients in the best position despite changes that are often detrimental to their cases.
