Brexit and Migration: Where are we Now?

On December 8, 2017 the European Union and the UK released a joint report detailing progress made during Phase 1 of the Brexit negotiations. Tentative agreements on three keys areas: the rights of EU nationals in the UK and UK Nationals in the EU, the Irish border, and the financial settlements were reached, allowing the negotiations to move forward to phase 2. Phase 2 will specifically focus on the future relationship between the UK and the EU 27.

AILA GMS recorded a series of podcasts from various International Associates getting their initial reactions and thoughts on this joint report. This teleconference will follow up with a group conversation on Brexit and Migration to date and where we can expect the negotiations between the EU 27 and the UK to go from here.
