27th Annual AILA California Chapters Conference: Uniquely for the Golden State.

2014 California Chapters ConferenceCalifornia's immigrant population is the largest of any state in the nation, so it's no surprise that the practice of immigration law in the Golden State is both challenging and at the vanguard of the field.

Taking place in the heart of Silicon Valley, this conference provides attendees with important opportunities to interact with experts and learn during information-filled seminars. Panelists will present on trending topics such as H-1B adjudications, federal litigation and advanced family immigration issues, as well as staple subjects like evidentiary issues in removal proceedings and PERM applications. Participants of all experience levels will benefit from critical updates in substantive areas of immigration law and will receive important information specific to practicing immigration law in California. Participants can also get substance abuse CLE Credit for State Bar compliance.

Course Materials

Each attendee will receive a free, electronic version of the 27th Annual AILA California Chapters Conference Handbook. The handbook contains practice advisories written by conference panelists addressing the topic(s) covered in their session.

CLE Credit

AILA has filed for MCLE and specialized credit in appropriate jurisdictions. To receive CLE credit, attorneys must record sessions attended and the CLE codes provided via webCLE. Eligible participants can receive up to 20.4 CLE credit hours, including 1 Substance Abuse and 3.9 Trial Skills credits depending on the jurisdiction.

A CLE Status sheet with more details will be available closer to the conference.

The OnDemand Recording format does not qualify for CLE credit in the following jurisdictions: AR, IA, KS, MN, RI, and TN.
