David Grunblatt, partner at Proskauer Rose LLP, heading its Immigration Practice Group is an authority on employer immigration compliance and employment-based immigration benefits. He served as Chair of the NY Chapter of AILA and its VSC Liaison Committee. Former Chair of the NYSBA Committee on Immigration and Nationality Law and that of the NY County Lawyers Association. He lectures and writes extensively.
Kari Konikowski Blackman, Houston, Texas
Kari Konikowski Blackman is a Senior Attorney with Berry Appleman & Leiden. Recognized in U.S. Best Lawyers and Texas Super Lawyers - Texas Rising Stars, she works primarily in employment-based immigration, including I-9 and E-Verify compliance. Mrs. Blackman received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
Brian Scott Green, Littleton, CO
Brian Scott Green is a solo practitioner in Denver, CO, who focuses on employer compliance and U.S. District Court challenges to immigration case denials and delays. Brian is a longtime member of AILA and has practiced litigation and trial work since 2001, and immigration law full-time since 2007. Brian has defended more than 30 DOL Wage & Hour investigations, as well as investigations by ICE, HSI, FDNS, and the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security.

The DOL Audits of Public Access Files: Compliance Tips and Trends web seminar takes place Thursday, December 3, 2020, at the times noted below:
- 2:00 pm–3:30 pm eastern time
- 1:00 pm–2:30 pm central time
- 12:00 pm–1:30 pm mountain time
- 11:00 am–12:30 pm pacific time
Tuition Assistance
Full and partial tuition assistance will be offered to participants based on need and availability for all audio and web seminars. Please complete the tuition assistance application for consideration.- AILA applies for accreditation upon attorneys request after participation for the following states: AR, DE, IA, ID, KY, LA, ME, MN, MS, NH, OR, RI, and WY. Programs are typically approved.
- Florida - Attorneys must apply on their own for approval of live audio/web seminars in FL. Programs are typically approved.
To receive CLE credit, attorneys must record seminar attendance and the CLE code provided within one week of the seminar date via webCLE.
