AILA Practice Accelerator – A Roundtable Discussion by and for the Practice Management Interest Group

The AILA Practice Accelerator– A Roundtable Discussion is a learning opportunity for and by members of the Practice Management Interest Group. Each discussion will focus on practice management-related subjects such as firm management, legal technology, legal ethics, firm finance, and law firm business continuity.

Each session will be accompanied by a one-pager which will be sent prior to the session. This will give attendees time to formulate questions and provide them with a takeaway they can refer to in the future. These discussion sessions will take place via and are limited to 25 members per session.

Topic: Discussing Lawyer Trust Accounts

  • How to open, manage, and reconcile an IOLTA
  • What goes in and comes out of the IOLTA
  • Knowing your jurisdiction rules and resources
  • Using a bookkeeper or accountant
