Last year DHS published a final rule that introduced a new electronic registration system. USCIS recently announced that it will implement the new system in the FY 2021 H-1B lottery. However, immigration attorneys are still incredibly anxious about the new system and whether sufficient user testing has been completed to ensure smooth processing.
