AILA University Video Roundtables are free learning opportunities for AILA members provided via a weekly schedule of live video programming for members to come together from across the country and world to discuss hot topics and network with colleagues in the field. Video Roundtables are part of AILA University programming and each session is hosted by faculty selected for their expertise.

Members of AILA's Business Immigration Response Team (BIRT) will address AILA members' most pressing business immigration questions.

  • What advice can you provide AILA members still waiting for USCIS receipts for EB-2 to EB-3 downgrades filed in October/November 2020? Has USCIS indicated when it will catch up on issuing receipts?
  • Can the Committee provide a regulatory roadmap on the F, H-1B, etc. changes in the short-term?
  • Under what circumstances is USCIS likely to "reuse" prior biometrics?
  • Can we expect improved USCIS processing times under the Biden Administration?

Please share any insights on Visa Bulletin movement/retrogression in the next several months.

Discussion Leaders:

  • Mike Nowlan, MI (Moderator)
  • Michael Cataliotti, NY
  • Amy Erlbacher-Anderson, NE
  • Matt Hirsch, PA
  • Roujin Mozaffarimehr, CA
