Attendees will be able to explore and connect with exhibitors and partners via a virtual exhibit hall, open all day each day, and can participate in daily yoga and mindfulness meditation and virtual social activities to meet-up with friends and colleagues. Virtual networking events after sessions will include themed happy hours as well as fun events to encourage members to expand their networks such as virtual team trivia, a virtual talent show, and more. Please note: All registrations are subject to approval. Attendance at AILA conferences and seminars is solely restricted to AILA members and their employees, government employees, and nonmember attorneys. Non-attorney attendance is limited to the employees of AILA members in good standing, to HR professionals who have an AILA member reference, employees of accredited educational institutions providing support to international student and scholar services at their employing institutions, and accredited representatives under 8 CFR §292.2. AILA will reject conference registrations from persons who provide representation without authorization in violation of 8 CFR §292.1, such as for-profit "immigration consultants" and "notarios."
*All paralegals must first create a paralegal account on AILA.org and complete the AILA member paralegal verification process in order to register for AILA products and services. Non-member paralegals are not eligible to register. Paralegals cannot register for AILA conferences until the verification process is complete.
Continuing Legal Education Credits at the Conference*
Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit is being sought for the 2020 AILA Virtual Annual Conference on Immigration Law in all jurisdictions that have mandatory CLE and legal specialization requirements. Notices of approval, including approved totals, will be posted on the annual conference website as they become available. Participants seeking CLE credit will be required to submit their affidavit of participation via webCLE by Sunday, August 2, 2020, at ailawebcle.org. Attorneys are awarded credit based upon the number of session hours they attend at the conference. Attorneys are responsible for accurately tracking and recording the sessions they attend and the relevant CLE codes for CLE reporting. Eligible participants can receive up to 30 total credits (including up to 5.0 ethics credits) in 50-minute jurisdictions, and up to 25 total credits (including up to 5.0 ethics credits) in 60-minute jurisdictions. Additional information regarding CLE procedures and specific state approvals will be provided to registrants at a later date.

Registrations are NOT transferable and cannot be split among conference attendees. Any and all liability of AILA with respect to registration, reservations, cancellations, changes in the date, or content of the program, and refunds is limited to a sum no greater than the registration fee paid. Under no circumstances shall AILA be liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, the cost of computer and other equipment used to access the event, those related to malfunctions with registrants’ Internet and other connectivity issues.
