Coronavirus Situation
AILA National is carefully monitoring the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on upcoming AILA National Events. The current risk to the general public in the United States is low according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Considerations such as the health and safety of the AILA community and staff, airline restrictions, and travel warnings issued by the CDC, WHO, and state and local authorities will inform ongoing event decisions.At this time, all upcoming AILA National events will be held as scheduled and webcast options will be made available for those who are unable or prefer not to travel. Registered attendees can cancel at any time up to the advertised conference cancellation deadline for a full refund or switch to the webcast option. AILA will strive to be as flexible as possible with members when considering exceptions.
AILA actively encourages all conference participants to take sensible precautions and practice good health habits by following CDC guidelines.

In the event of an emergency at an AILA conference, please follow the following instructions regarding who to contact. Always be aware of your surroundings and be sure to locate emergency exit doors in each room. For immediate assistance, always attempt to contact someone onsite, if it is an emergency, first call 911 and then notify staff. If it is a minor threat and you are unable to locate staff onsite, please contact conferences@aila.org.
