Doing Good While Doing Well: Making ProBono Profitable for Your Practice

This 60 minute session was recorded at the AILA Annual Conference in June 2012. This product includes an audio recording on CD and a PDF file of powerpoint presentation slides and/or articles needed for CLE Credit.

This panel addresses making pro bono representation a way to enhance an attorney's practice. It focuses specifically on choosing the right types of cases to take, as well as pro bono work that does not entail actually taking cases. The challenge is particularly great for small firm and solo practitioners, who must choose pro bono activity that will provide exposure to the community in the appropriate practice area, but will not break them financially or be over their head.
