Border Blues: Current Issues and Trends at the Canadian Border

This 60 minute session was recorded at the AILA Annual Conference in June 2012. This product includes an audio recording on CD and a PDF file of powerpoint presentation slides and/or articles needed for CLE Credit.

Presenting an application at the border can be perilous and horror stories abound. This panel will discuss recent trends in adjudications at the Canadian border and during pre-flight clearance. The panel will also provide strategic advice on how to prepare your clients for the worst, but to expect the best.
