USCIS Part 6 Form I-129 Training: What You Need to Know Before You Sign [Web Seminar]

This training is targeted at the senior level person who would be signing the I-129 petition. It is also beneficial for attorneys, in-house counsel, and HR/immigration professionals who want a better understanding of export laws, and specifically, how they relate to the I-129.

This training, brought to you by AILA and True Compliance Group, will introduce you to the new requirements for completing Part 6 of the USCIS I-129 Nonimmigrant Visa petition for all H-1B, L-1 and O-1A categories. As of February 20, 2011, Part 6 requires the Petitioner to have reviewed the International Traffic in Arms Regulations ("ITAR") and the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR") and made a license determination for its prospective employee/Beneficiary.

By completing this training, you will become familiar with ITAR and EAR and how they relate to your I-129 visa petition. You will learn about the different entities and concepts you need to understand in order to complete Part 6, including:
