Laura Danielson (dl), Minneapolis, MN

Laura Danielson is the chair of the Immigration Department at Fredrikson & Byron, which has offices in the United States and Shanghai. She has been an immigration lawyer since 1989, and teaches immigration law at the University of Minnesota Law School. She is also co-author of Immigration Law in a Nutshell. Concentrating on business and investor-based immigration, she works with companies, investors, and other professionals in a wide range of visa matters.


Lois Gimpel Shaukat, New York, NY

Lois Gimpel Shaukat is a graduate of Barnard College (B.A.) and Temple University (J.D.). She began her work in immigration law with Florida Rural Legal Services, representing migrant farm workers. Ms. Shaukat then joined the law firm of Mailman & Schultz and began her career in business immigration law. She worked for eight years with the New York office of Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy. She has been in-house immigration counsel with a global management consulting firm since 1997.


Christopher T. Musillo, Cincinnati, OH

Christopher T. Musillo is a partner with Musillo Unkenholt LLC. He has been an AILA member since his graduation from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Law in 1998. He focuses his practice on business immigration, including the healthcare and information technology industries. He regularly writes and speaks at a variety of national and international forums on business immigration matters.
