Anna Marie Gallagher (dl), Washington, DC

Anna Marie Gallagher is a shareholder at Maggio + Kattar, where she heads the litigation and global practice areas. Ms. Gallagher has practiced in the field of immigration and refugee law for more than two decades, working in the United States, Central America, and Europe. Her experience includes private practice, advocacy in the nonprofit sector, and several years in academia. She remains active in international refugee and migrant issues and is the president of the International Detention Coalition.


Shoba Sivaprasad Wadhia, University Park , PA

Shoba Sivaprasad Wadhia is an immigration law expert and directs the Penn State Center for Immigrants' Rights and teaches courses in immigration and refugee law. Professor Wadhia researches the role of prosecutorial discretion in immigration law. Prior to joining Penn State Law, Professor Wadhia was deputy director for legal affairs at the National Immigration Forum in Washington, D.C. and was an associate with Maggio + Kattar in Washington, D.C., where she litigated asylum, deportation, and employment-based immigration benefits matters.


Mary Kenney, AIC Senior Staff Attorney, Washington, DC

Mary Kenney is a senior staff attorney with the American Immigration Council’s Legal Action Center. Ms. Kenney has litigated cases at the Board of Immigration Appeals and in federal courts around the country. Prior to joining the American Immigration Council, she served as executive director of the Texas Lawyers’ Committee, a statewide immigrant and refugee rights project. She also worked as a legal services attorney in West Virginia.
