A. James Vazquez-Azpiri is a partner in the San Francisco office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. He is a member of the board of editors of Bender's Immigration Bulletin, and an occasional writer and speaker on business immigration topics. He is named as one of the leading U.S. immigration lawyers in Chambers USA. He holds law degrees from the Harvard University School of Law and New York University School of Law.


Eleanor Pelta is a partner in the labor and employment law practice at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, and chair of the firm's immigration practice. She currently serves as the American Immigration Lawyers Association's President. She assists corporate clients in various industries with the international transfer of key personnel and with immigration compliance issues. She is particularly knowledgeable in managing high-volume employee transfers, as her background includes assisting employers in gaining temporary and permanent visas for all types of business, scientific, and executive personnel. Ms. Pelta has been named one of the leading U.S. lawyers for immigration law by Chambers USA. She has spoken and written on a wide variety of business immigration topics, including PERM, AC21, H-1B visas, and immigration worksite compliance. She is a graduate of Princeton University and of Harvard University Law School.
