This innovative program provides a hands-on practicum designed for attorneys who are new to the complex area of immigration law. This conference recording features two distinct components:
- ABC’s of Immigration Law Seminar Series: First, listen to AILA’s ABC’s of Immigration law seminar series. These seminars cover the basics of substantive immigration law and will prepare you for the hands on material covered by the conference webcast. Topics covered in the series are: General Overview of Immigration Law, Employment-Based Nonimmigrant Visas, Employment-Based Immigrant Visas, Family-Based Immigrant Visas, and Naturalization.
- Conference Webcast: View the webcast recording of the live conference. The webcast recording features the video of speakers as well as a synchronized view of the PowerPoint presentations. Each panel provides attendees with “real-life” case scenarios, blank forms, and PowerPoints to guide attendees through each topic.
CLE Credit & Resources
CLE credit is available in most jurisdictions for this conference. To receive CLE credit, attorneys must record sessions attended and the CLE codes provided via webCLE. Eligible participants can receive up to 17.0 CLE credit hours. Please view the CLE status sheet for more details.
The OnDemand Recording format does not qualify for CLE credit in the following jurisdictions: AR, IA, KS, MN, RI, and TN.

Each attendee will receive an electronic version of AILA’s Forms & Fundamentals, 2012-13 Ed. This is designed specifically for new immigration practitioners who desire a step-by-step guide to completing some of the most common immigration forms. It offers practice pointers and checklists, along with the sample forms, so the reader can gain a better understanding of what needs to be considered when completing each form.
