Sharon R. Mehlman is a co-managing partner of Larrabee Mehlman Albi Coker LLP in San Diego, CA. Her practice is focused on employment-based immigration, mainly for the technology sector. Ms. Mehlman is a frequent speaker on employment-based immigration matters including employer sanctions/worksite enforcement. She is the past Chair of AILA's San Diego Chapter, California Service Center, Service Center Operations, and USCIS benefit liaison committees. Sharon is currently Vice Chair of AILA's Verification and Worksite Enforcement committee where she is working to resolve related issues with ICE-HSI, USCIS Verification, and OSC.
Patrick Shen, Washington, DC
Patrick Shen is a partner with Fragomen's Washington, D.C. office. In 2007, Patrick was confirmed unanimously by the U.S. Senate as Special Counsel for Immigration-related Unfair Employment Practices. He previously served as Policy Director of ICE, Chief Immigration Counsel of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and trial attorney with DOJ Civil Division, Office of Immigration Litigation. Patrick was a sports reporter in Taiwan before law school. He volunteers as an EMT with his local fire department.
