He is a co-founder of Parrilli Renison headquartered in Portland, Oregon. He has prepared numerous O and P petitions on behalf of artists and arts groups, including the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art and its Time Based Art (TBA) Festival, and British author Ian McEwan.

Laya R. Kushner received her B.A. from State University of New York at Binghamton (1991) and her J.D. from the University of Baltimore (1994). Ms. Kushner is a third generation attorney practicing immigration law, and a member of the bars of the State of North Carolina, State of New York and the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Kushner has lectured to the immigration bar and various law schools.
